Congratulations to North Central High School Orchestra Director, Craig Ghormley.  Mr. Ghormley is the Indiana Chapter of the American String Teachers Association 2016 High School Music Teacher of the Year.

The American String Teachers Association (ASTA) was founded more than 60 years ago. Its aim is to help string and orchestra teachers and players develop and refine their careers.  Indiana ASTA sponsors young artist competitions, holds professional conferences, and since 2013 has been rewarding string educators in Indiana in one of five categories: Middle School, High School, New Teacher, Studio Teacher, and Lifetime Achievement Award. The award recognizes the dedication and hard work, gives teachers a sense of accomplishment and pride for what they accomplish in and out of classrooms every day to help make Indiana the best it can be for String Education.

Congratulations to Mr. Ghormley.
