Congratulations to Casey Myers, Muncie Central High School student in Muncie Community Schools
Casey Myers earned a Silver Key int he 2017 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. Her artwork was selected from over 2,800 submissions int he Central and Southern Indiana region. She is now eligible for an opportunity to attend a creative summer program tuition-free through the Scholastic Awards Summer Scholarship program. Her artwork also was accepted in the 2017 High School Junior Art Invitational at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) Herron School of Art + Design. Her piece entitled “Powerless” will be on display in the Herron Galleries from April 8th through the 22nd.
