Congratulations to Muncie Community Schools and Muncie Central CyberPatriots Teams for their first place finish in the state competition established by the Air Force Association
Two teams of Muncie Central students were among those competing in the CyberPatriot National Youth Cyber Defense challenge to find and resolve cybersecurity vulnerabilities in simulated environments. Central’s team, led by JROTC teacher, Timothy Cummins, demonstrated the teamwork, critical thinking skills and technical knowledge that led to their top finish in the state competition.
Congratulations to students, Harley Beatty, Matt Beatty, Braedyn Stovall, and Julia Ballard (Gold Team) and to Christian Bridges, Matt Thomma, and Clayton Nannie (Silver Team). We wish them continued success at the regional and national level as well as in their futures.
