Grandview Elementary School in Monroe County Community School Corp. hosted schools interested in learning about successful STEM implementation. Teachers from Brooklyn Elementary STEM Academy from Brooklyn IN met with Grandview Elementary School Principal Lisa Roberts and her staff to discuss planning and implementation of STEM curriculum. The Brooklyn teachers were given a presentation about the STEM process and given a tour of the school. During the tour Grandview teachers shared how they had successfully incorporated STEM into each lesson and answered questions about the lesson planning process. The Brooklyn Elementary teachers are the first group to participate. A second visit is scheduled for teachers from Richland-Bean Blossom schools.
