Marion Community Schools said they are thrilled to share that the Marion High School’s band program is a recipient of a GRAMMY Signature Schools Community Award. In addition to the prestige of the award, the program will receive a $2,000 grant from the GRAMMY Foundation and Hot Topic Foundation.
Marion’s band program was recognized for its role in “shaping the future of music,” and in “bringing the power and joy of music to the next generation.”
