The Indiana University Board of Trustees approved three new degrees, including one that will help meet the demand for computer science graduates in north-central Indiana and another program for students in southeastern Indiana. IU Kokomo will offer a Bachelor of Science in Computer Sciences. IU Southeast will offer a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in arts and humanities. And the IU School of Dentistry is offering a new graduate level program seeking to use scientific knowledge about dental caries to shift from a treatment to a prevention model for patients.
