Congratulations Morgan Mohr, a Kokomo School Corporation 2013 high school graduate and senior at Indiana University. Morgan Mohr is one of the 32 Rhodes Scholars selected from college students across the United States. Ms. Mohr was class valedictorian for the 2013 Kokomo High school graduating class and is a Wells Scholar. According to Indiana University’s Honors and Awards page, she will graduate this spring with majors in feminist policy through the Individualized Major Program and in political science and history, all in the College of Arts and Sciences. She has a 3.97 grade-point average and serves on the Board of Aeons, a panel of student leaders that advises the university president on policies affecting students.
Ms. Mohr joins an international group totaling 95 scholars selected from the U.S. and 18 other jurisdictions around the world. Morgan’s plans for the scholarship are to continue studies at Oxford University in England with career goals in the area of law and public policy.
