The Columbus High Sound of North – the high school marching band in Bartholomew Con School Corporation – is heading to Washington, D.C. to perform in the parade after the inauguration of the President and Vice President on Friday, January 20th.

With the help of state Rep. Milo Smith, who rallied the community to pitch in, they were able to raise sufficient funds to accept the invitation to participate in the presidential inaugural parade.  Columbus North is Vice President-Elect Mike Pence’s alma mater, making their appearance particularly special for the school.
