This year is the Beech Grove High School’s centennial.  The school’s Renaissance program instituted a Centennial Award designed to recognize contributions to the success of various programs at BGHS. Mayor Dennis Buckley was selected for the first award in recognition of the collaborative efforts between the City of Beech Grove and Beech Grove City Schools, specifically the high school.

Mayor Buckley is pictured below with Mr. Jim Coffman, owner of Eckstein Shoe Store and Repair. The Beech Grove landmark is located on Main Street and is the naming sponsor of the Centennial Award.
