Congratulations to the young science fair winners at Beech Grove‘s South Grove
Sixth grade LEAD students at South Grove had an opportunity to participate in the annual science fair. Students submitted a written proposal with their topic ideas and testing procedures to their science teachers hoping to be chosen. Each LEAD class had student representatives participate in a 3-week study of science fair with South Grove teacher, Mrs. Bair. In addition to designing a test and project board, students performed research and wrote a 5 to 6 page paper explaining their journey! The three top placing students are invited to attend the Central Indiana Regional Science Fair at Marion University.
Congratulations and best of luck to:
First Place: Sankalp Srivastava (featured in the accompanying photo)
Second Place: Bradley Neal
Third Place: Van Mitchell

Indiana’s urban schools offer Hoosier students a rich array of programs, services, and opportunities. IUSA appreciates the opportunity to share the stories that demonstrate what the schools have to offer and the many successes their students, faculty and staff achieve.
