Congratulations to Anderson High School seniors, Olivia Landes and Madison McCool. Both were selected to perform with other choral students from across the state to perform for the Indiana Music Educators Association convention earlier this month.
The students were honored to rehearse and perform under the direction of Z. Randall Stroope, an American composer, lecturer, and conductor well-known around the world. He has had recent conducting engagements at the American School in Singapore, Canterbury Cathedral (England), Berliner Dom (Germany), Salzburger Dom (Austria), Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and National Presbyterian Cathedral (Washington, D.C.), Carnegie Hall (New York), and four performances at the Vatican in the past three years. He is also the Artistic Director for two summer music festivals.

Indiana’s urban schools offer Hoosier students a rich array of programs, services, and opportunities. IUSA appreciates the opportunity to share the stories that demonstrate what the schools have to offer and the many successes their students, faculty and staff achieve.
